When I read this fanfic, I had seen maybe a half of an episode of Gundam Wing.  Honestly.  After reading (and when I got some money), I headed down to Virgin Records by my house and bought a few tapes.  So, what am I saying?   This fanfic was good.  I would love to see it finished.

I was reading an article in the paper about how successful television shows are created.  It said it was through the way the characters interact, I think that can be said for most forms of fictional media.  That was probably a contributing factor to the success of this story.  Also, characterization was done well, the fact that even though Quatre was wary of the Ronins he still felt compassion for Seiji.  It's part of his nature and it was played out well.

I also liked that it was from the prespective of the Gundam pilots rather than the Ronins, I think it helped me to understand it better because I had never seen Gundam before this.  That's something to notice, Mink's page is Ronin Warriors-based, which means that the people who go there watch Ronin Warriors(Duh, what the hell's my point .. ).  It can't be assumed that the people who go there have seen Gundam Wing, it seems that Mink was concious of that when she wrote this story.  If someone is writing a crossover or a fanfiction it's good to give the reader some way of understanding the original storylines(without giving an obnoxious summary that'd annoy the hell out of fans).  Mink does an especially good job of this.  Think of it like an "inside joke" that you're outside of- isn't that annoying?  But when you get a full-length explaination it sucks, doesn't it?  Well, there you go.

One problem, I know you're busy, but- finish it! Please?

Man, I love this fic. Mink is such an amazing author, and her stories are all incredible. The art for this fic is simply amazing, as well. Damn, I wish I had any of that talent.

As Rowen said, the characterization really makes the store. Like Rowen, I haven't seen much (OK, really no) Gundam Wing at all. However, Mink's writing makes the personalities of the characters very clear. And from what I do know about GW, she did a great job.

The story itself is a cross-over. Except this cross-over is a good one. They meet, problems arise, etc., However, with Mink, you know that the story will be in-depth and stay away from the typical cross-over with the characters falling in love (like RW/SM ones) or one groups helping the other in an impossible manner (DBZ/RW ones).

Basically, what I am saying is that this story is a must read. Especially when it is finished!
